Peter E. Bracken

Peter is one of the top family lawyers in the state. Raised in Layton, Utah, Peter received his Bachelors of Science from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctor with Honors from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Connecticut, where he was repeatedly ranked in the top of his class.

Since 2011, Peter has been helping families successfully address their legal problems. He has practiced in courts all along the Wasatch Front, from Logan to Provo. He is a driven individual, and has an incredible ability to recall law at the drop of a hat. Peter handles all areas of family law disputes, including high-asset divorces. He is well versed in the law and has extensive trial experience. Peter is a member of the Weber County Bar and is active within the legal community. Peter has been with Burton Family Attorneys for more than a decade, and is a shareholder of the firm.

Peter is an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, and looks for opportunities to give back to the community. While attending BYU, he helped establish Camp Kesem, a weeklong summer camp for children whose parents have experienced cancer. Peter has a wonderful wife, four amazing sons, and three beautiful daughters.
