Background and Experience
Olivia brings an unusually practical perspective to family law because she understands legal cases from the ground up. She first joined the firm in 2017 as a paralegal, gaining hands-on experience drafting documents, assisting clients, and managing the day-to-day details required to move cases forward efficiently.
That experience inspired Olivia to attend the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in New York. Before law school, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Professional and Technical Writing from Weber State University.
After graduating and passing the bar, Olivia practiced general liability and insurance defense in New York, developing experience in motion practice, legal writing, and courtroom advocacy. She eventually returned to Utah and rejoined the firm as an attorney.
Olivia brings an energetic, practical, and results-focused approach to family law. She believes clients with straightforward legal issues should have a clear understanding of what needs to happen, what is expected of them, and what the next step will be. Her approach emphasizes preparation, responsiveness, and keeping the case moving toward resolution.
When disputes arise, Olivia brings the litigation and courtroom experience necessary to advocate for her clients. But when issues can be resolved efficiently, she remains focused on accomplishing the client’s objectives without unnecessarily complicating the process.
Outside the office, Olivia enjoys hiking with her dog, golfing, and spending time outdoors.
