Background and Experience

McKinley is a Salt Lake City native and a devoted family law attorney who has been guiding clients through life’s most challenging moments since 2019. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Utah and her law degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.

McKinley’s experience spans both private practice and the nonprofit legal sector, giving her a well-rounded perspective on family law. She focuses on divorce, child custody, and protective order matters, and she takes pride in providing clients with more than just legal representation. McKinley connects deeply with the families she serves, listening carefully to their concerns, helping them understand their options, and guiding them through the emotional and legal complexities of family law with compassion and clarity.

She believes that the most effective solutions come from professionalism, communication, and cooperation, and she works diligently to help clients achieve fair and practical resolutions whenever possible. Outside the office, McKinley enjoys running, hiking, and biking through Utah’s outdoors, as well as traveling with her husband, two children, and their dog. Her approach to life and work is guided by patience, understanding, and the desire to help families move forward with confidence and peace of mind.
