Background and Experience
Troy is an Ogden native and a seasoned family law attorney with more than two decades of experience. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Weber State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston, where he served as an editor on the Houston Journal of International Law.
Troy began his career with Utah Legal Services in 2002, advocating for victims of domestic violence and representing clients in divorce, custody, and eviction matters. These early experiences inspired his dedication to family law, and by 2012 he chose to focus his practice exclusively in this area. His extensive experience—covering thousands of cases and every facet of domestic litigation—gives him the knowledge and skill to pursue the best possible outcome for each client.

A self-proclaimed master of dad jokes, he enjoys bringing humor and lightheartedness to everyday life. He is married to the love of his life, and together they have two sons and one daughter.
