Kayla was introduced to the legal field as a receptionist and quickly gained a thirst for law. She graduated with an Associates in Political Science, then proceeded to obtain a Bachelors of Science degree with a double major in Psychology and Political Sciences from The University of Utah. (Go Utes!) In addition, she also obtained her paralegal certificate. She’s had the opportunity to work in several areas of law, but feels she makes the most impact in domestic law. Because of this, she sought a role where she can utilize her skills as a family law paralegal. Kayla is resilient and ambitious. She works diligently to obtain answers, and isn’t afraid to dig into the law. She prides herself on her ability to keep cases moving toward resolution. She utilizes her vast knowledge base, along with her extensive customer service background to connect with clients and lend aid where needed. She feels the role of a paralegal bridges a gap for our clients, and she works to create a bond of trust with each client she works with. She is a team player and is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in the office. Her upbeat and optimistic personality makes her a joy to work with.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys activities with her dog, family, and friends. She loves to explore new places, and spend time outdoors.
