Genesis Ortega

Genesis brings years of legal background to her role as a paralegal at our firm. She was the first member of her family to attend college, where she proved to be a dedicated scholar, graduating with high honors. She gained her paralegal certificate, as well as an Associates in Paralegal Studies. She finds domestic law fascinating and prides herself on staying up to date on the ever changing legalities. Genesis finds fulfillment in helping others through the complex legal system. Giving back to her community is very important to her, and she regularly looks for opportunities to volunteer and use her legal skills to benefit others. She has devoted much of her time to working with a local immigration clinic, as well as meeting with victims of domestic violence to ensure they get proper representation. She loves obtaining new skills and learning about other cultures. She speaks English and Spanish, and she is working on mastering Portuguese. 

Genesis loves to get outside and experience the beautiful sights Utah displays. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as playing ultimate frisbee, camping, and watching movies.
